Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions set out the framework for using the Volaerisjet website, requesting a consultation, discussing a proposed charter, accepting a flight plan, and proceeding with a private jet charter arrangement.

Volaerisjet operates from Hong Kong and provides charter arrangements through an in-person consultation process. Our website acts as an information and consultation-request platform. It does not provide direct jet booking or support any form of website payment.

By using the website or proceeding with our charter process, you agree to the provisions that apply to your interaction with Volaerisjet.

1. What Our Website Does

The Volaerisjet website introduces six jet tiers structured around factors such as passenger capacity and flight distance. Individual tier pages provide information to help visitors understand the type of charter arrangements available.

The website allows you to:

  • Explore the six jet tiers
  • Read individual tier descriptions
  • Learn about our charter process
  • Submit a consultation request
  • Contact our team

The website does not allow you to reserve a jet directly or make payments online. Any applicable payment may be made using available options after consultation and acceptance of the relevant charter arrangements.

Information displayed online should therefore not be interpreted as an aircraft reservation, final itinerary, or individual charter quote.

2. From Website to Flight Plan

Private charter requirements vary considerably between journeys. For this reason, Volaerisjet follows a consultation-based arrangement rather than offering direct website booking.

After submitting a consultation request, the consultation takes place at our office in Hong Kong. A dedicated aircraft charter consultant will discuss your intended journey and understand the practical requirements associated with it.

Relevant information may include your:

  • Departure point and destination
  • Intended travel date and schedule
  • Passenger count
  • Luggage requirements
  • Preferred jet tier
  • Route requirements
  • Other relevant travel requests

The information discussed during the consultation is used to prepare an itinerary, proposed flight plan, and quote.

Submitting a consultation request does not reserve an aircraft and does not require either party to proceed with a charter.

3. Your Proposed Charter

A proposed flight plan is prepared according to the journey requirements discussed during consultation and the operational circumstances applicable to the requested flight.

Before proceeding, customers should review the proposed itinerary, departure details, passenger information, flight plan, quote, and applicable charter conditions.

An online tier description is not a promise that a particular aircraft will be available for every route or date. Aircraft suitability and availability can depend on passenger capacity, distance, airport requirements, scheduling, operational restrictions, and other relevant circumstances.

4. A Quick View of Key Timelines

The following timeframes form an important part of our charter arrangements:

Situation Requirement
Flight-plan change Contact us at least 72 hours before departure
Cancellation for full refund Email at least 48 hours before departure
Cancellation within 48 hours 50% cancellation fee applies
Airport arrival Arrive at least 1 hour before departure
No-show Full paid amount is charged

Timeframes are calculated against the departure time stated in the accepted itinerary.

5. Changes After Accepting a Flight Plan

Travel plans can change, but aircraft arrangements may involve scheduling, airport access, routing, and other operational considerations.

If you wish to change an accepted flight plan, you must inform Volaerisjet at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure time.

A request may concern a change to the route, departure time, destination, passenger arrangements, or another part of the itinerary.

Submitting a request does not mean that the requested modification can automatically be accommodated. Volaerisjet will assess the proposed change according to aircraft availability, operational feasibility, scheduling, airport requirements, and related circumstances.

A modification may also change the quoted amount. Where applicable, the revised arrangements and quote will be communicated before the proposed change proceeds.

Requests made within 72 hours of departure may not be accommodated.

6. When You Need to Cancel

Cancellation requests must be sent to the Volaerisjet team by email at flying@volaerisjet.com. This provides a written record of the request and the time it was received.

Our cancellation structure is:

48 hours or more before departure

Where the cancellation email is received at least 48 hours before the accepted departure time, the customer is eligible for a full refund of the amount paid for the affected charter.

Less than 48 hours before departure

Where the cancellation email is received within 48 hours of the accepted departure time, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the amount paid for the affected charter applies. The remaining eligible amount will be returned through the applicable refund process.

Any additional refund information required from the customer will be communicated as part of that process.

7. Be at the Airport One Hour Early

Every passenger must arrive at the applicable departure airport at least one hour before the scheduled departure time.

Customers should account for traffic, transportation conditions, airport access, and other circumstances when planning their arrival.

Passengers must also carry the travel and identification documents applicable to their journey. Depending on the itinerary, these may include passports, visas, entry documents, permits, or other documentation required by the relevant jurisdiction.

Responsibility for obtaining and carrying appropriate passenger documentation remains with the traveler.

8. When a Passenger Does Not Arrive

Failure to arrive for the scheduled charter may be considered as a no-show.

Where a passenger or booking party does not arrive and the charter is consequently missed, the full amount paid for the affected charter will be charged. No refund is provided for an amount subject to the no-show provision.

Informing Volaerisjet about a delay does not automatically prevent the no-show provision from applying. The circumstances will depend on whether the scheduled charter can still be operated and other relevant operational factors.

9. Flights Exist in a Moving Environment

Aircraft operations may occasionally be affected by circumstances that require an adjustment to an itinerary. These can include weather, airport restrictions, air traffic requirements, regulatory directions, aircraft availability, route limitations, or events outside reasonable operational control.

Depending on the circumstances, an adjustment may involve:

  • Departure timing
  • Arrival timing
  • Routing
  • Airport selection
  • Aircraft allocation

Where an accepted arrangement needs to change, Volaerisjet will communicate relevant information and available alternatives where applicable.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a customer right or company responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded under Hong Kong law.

10. Passenger Responsibilities

A private charter arrangement also places responsibilities on passengers. Customers and accompanying passengers must comply with applicable aviation rules, airport requirements, lawful crew instructions, baggage restrictions, and travel-document requirements.

Passengers must not bring prohibited items aboard an aircraft or engage in conduct that materially interferes with lawful or orderly flight operations.

The person arranging the charter should ensure that relevant itinerary information and passenger requirements are communicated to everyone traveling under the arrangement.

11. Personal Information

Volaerisjet may receive personal information when you request a consultation, communicate with our team, attend an office consultation, provide passenger details, or proceed with a charter.

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Hong Kong requirements, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).

Information may be used for purposes connected with consultation administration, customer communication, itinerary preparation, charter arrangements, recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations.

Customers should refer to our Privacy Policy for more detail about how personal data is collected, used, retained, disclosed, and handled.

12. Digital Requests and Communications

Website forms and electronic communications may be used for consultation requests and other interactions with Volaerisjet.

Electronic records and communications are handled with regard to the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553) where applicable.

Customers should provide accurate contact details and review communications relating to their proposed or accepted charter. A customer should inform us if relevant contact or passenger information changes.

13. Using Our Website Properly

The website may be used to explore Volaerisjet services, review jet tiers, request consultations, and communicate with our team.

Users must not misuse the website by deliberately interfering with its operation, attempting unlawful system access, impersonating another person, submitting intentionally deceptive information, or using website materials contrary to applicable law.

Content created for the website may be subject to applicable intellectual property protections. Accessing the website does not transfer ownership of its content to the visitor.

14. Responsibility and Applicable Limits

Volaerisjet does not seek through these Terms to exclude or restrict a responsibility where such exclusion or restriction would be unlawful.

Where relevant, contractual limitations will operate subject to applicable Hong Kong legislation, including the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71).

Customers remain responsible for consequences arising from information they provide, failure to carry required travel documentation, prohibited conduct, failure to meet communicated passenger requirements, or failure to arrive for the scheduled charter, subject to applicable law.

15. Third-Party Rights

Unless a specific charter arrangement expressly provides otherwise, a person who is not a party to the applicable agreement has no right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623).

This does not affect a right that exists independently under applicable law.

16. Changes to These Terms

Volaerisjet may update these Terms when necessary to reflect changes in our website, consultation process, charter procedures, operational arrangements, or applicable legal requirements.

The version displayed on the website will apply according to its stated operation. Updates will not be used to retrospectively alter an existing charter arrangement where doing so would conflict with applicable law or written terms already accepted by the parties.

17. Hong Kong Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Relevant legislation may include the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553), Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71), and Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623), where applicable.

Any dispute concerning these Terms or a Volaerisjet charter arrangement will be handled subject to applicable Hong Kong law and the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts, subject to any other rights available under law.

18. The Agreement in Context

These Terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, accepted itinerary, flight plan, quote, and any charter-specific written conditions provided by Volaerisjet.

If a charter-specific document contains provisions applying specifically to an individual journey, those provisions should be read alongside these Terms and will apply to that arrangement to the extent stated and permitted by Hong Kong law.

By proceeding with a charter arrangement, the customer acknowledges the applicable itinerary, cancellation conditions, amendment requirements, passenger responsibilities, airport arrival requirement, and other written terms associated with the journey.
